I did not know what to expect during our trip to Mexico, a first time for me and my family. I have to say that simply put, we will be back. From tacos to tequila, it was nice to experience Mexico’s originality during this short excursion. We stayed at a resort called Garza Blanca, an all exclusive location. And when I say all inclusive, it truly was from start to finish. We were pleasantly pleased when we looked at the bill at the end of our stay — everything was covered. The meals were high quality and I’m not just talking about simple tacos. We had Ribeye during our last night and were surprised that it was like we were at a Ruth’s Chris or a Morton’s. The only thing that I did not like which I did not know I did until after the fact was parasailing. My wife and daughter rode together on the first run and I was amazed at how unafraid they were as they went up. Raising their arms with jubilant joy like they were riding a roller coaster. My son and I, however, were vastly different; we were both explicitly reluctant about the adventure but some times you do what you have to do for the greater good. As we both said at the end of this ride, this will be the first and last time we will do parasailing. All and all, it was a great trip and I felt a sense of appreciation for the proximity of Cabo to San Diego. I hope to be back again very soon.
