Noah’s first at bat of the season. With Olivia and friend cheering on.

Something as simple as a catch can sound routine but when it’s a 9 year old and there’s a man on base it can sound intimidating. That wasn’t the case today for Noah.

Despite not having his best day at the plate as he went 0 for 1 with a strikeout and walk, his play on the field was on point. The catch happened with a man on third in the top of the 4th inning. The batter hit a pop up and Noah stood patiently to make the catch with authority. This was overshadowed ever so slightly by the next sequence.

Noah had the awareness to throw the ball to third base to force out the runner at the corner. Nicely played son! Not being bothered by his performance at the plate, he kept playing.

It sounds like a cliche but this is what life is all about that I’m certain he will be able to continue to build from, professionally and personally. Just keep playing and move on to the next play no matter what.

Oh yeah, the team won big today, 10-3!
